GRAUMAN'S EGYPTIAN THEATRE THEATRE LOCATION AND PARKING The Film Festival is presented by The American Cinematheque at its new permanent home - the recently renovated Grauman’s Egyptian Theatre in Hollywood. The theatre is located at 6712 Hollywood Boulevard, Hollywood. It is two blocks east of Highland Avenue between McCadden Place and Las Palmas Avenue - on the south side of the street. The entire neighborhood has been extensively redeveloped, is well-policed and is a safe environment. There are plenty of local restaurants There is plenty of offstreet parking - and there are several parking lots in easy walking distance. All the films are being screened in the Lloyd Rigler Theatre at The Egyptian which has a capacity of 618 seats.

Tickets for all films in the festival may be purchased at the theatre box office on the day of screening. The box office is open every day (except Mondays) - from 10:30am. till 30 mins after the start of the the last film of the day. The box office accepts cash, Visa and Mastercard. Sorry - no checks or American Express. There are no ticket handling charges. The box office is located at the Egyptian Theatre. EXCEPTION: Tickets for the special July 4th weekend event (on Sunday July 2nd) The Mods & Rockers English Tea Party & Movie! MUST be purchased in advance. American Cinematheque Members: Cinematheque members may purchase tickets in advance by fax or mail. Use normal procedures detailed in the monthly program and at the American Cinematheque website. General Public: The American Cinematheque is a non-profit organization and is not presently able to offer telephone/mail/fax ticket sales service for the general public. (You are urged to become a Cinematheque member and become eligible for advance ticket purchase privileges by fax and mail! It’s a wonderful organization for movie lovers - with fascinating film festivals throughout the year!) The box office is open daily - except Mondays. It opens at 10:30am. On days when the Cinematheque has an evening program - the box office stays open till 30 minutes after the start of the last program of the evening. On days when there is NO evening program - the box office closes at 4.00pm Advance tickets for this festival may be purchased from the box office on any date from Wednesday June 7th 2000 onwards. Tickets are priced at: However there is a $5 per ticket DISCOUNT for tickets purchased by 5pm - Sunday June 25th 2000 In Summary: Tickets purchased on or before Sunday June 25th 2000: Tickets purchased AFTER Sunday June 25th 2000: The ticket price includes the groovy movie "Go-Go Mania!" - and everything at the Tea Party - including food (Bangers & Mash, vegetarian Cornish pasty and more), drink, live 60's music, fashion show, costume contest & unlimited fun! This is an all-inclusive event. It is NOT possible to purchase tickets for just the movie or just the Tea Party. * The number of tickets Members may purchase at the Member price depends on the level of membership held. Advance purchase facilities for all other films/events in the festival must be undertaken in-person at the box office.
